Cosmelan is the world's leading professional depigmentation removal treatment.
It is suitable for all forms of hyperpigmentation from melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), solar lentigo (sun spots) to ephelides (freckles) and can be used on all Fitzpatrick skin types.
Cosmelan is a depigmentation method with an intensive corrective effect that regulates over production of melanin in the melanocyte cells, inhibiting and controlling the appearance of new dark spots. It has a dual corrective and controlling action, achieving short and long term results by keeping hyperpigmentation under control.
Cosmelan is a four phase treatment plan:
Phase 1
Initial consultation 1 hour
If you decide to go ahead with the treatment a £100 deposit will be taken - you will be given a two week skin prep kit to take home
Phases 2 & 3
In salon treatments
After two weeks prep, you will receive a Melanostop mesopeel followed by a second visit to apply the Cosmelan mask. This will then be worn home and left on for 8-10 hours (skin type depending)
Phase 4
In salon follow up consultation
On-going home care for 9-12 months ensuring that the results are long-lasting.
